How to confirm an Attribute
There are 3 ways to confirm Attributes on your documents:
1) Convert a provision into an attribute
2) Confirm an attribute from inside a document
3) Confirm an attribute in bulk from the Library page
How to confirm Provisions as Attributes
What does it mean to confirm a provision as an attribute?
1. From a single Document view: Click on the Content pane and find the provision you'd like to confirm as an attribute
2. Click on the Provision
3. Hover over the Provision on the pane that opens up and click the blue circle with a checkmark in it to begin the confirmation process.
4. Search the list of Attributes that pops up> Select the Attribute
* If there is no Attribute that captures the information you want, your Thomson Reuters Document Intelligence Admin can create one for you in Settings
- If the data type of the Attribute matches the data type of the source Provision, the data will automatically populate upon click of the Attribute value box
(example: if you're confirming a string of text into a string of text Attribute Type)
5. Click Save to confirm the Provision as an attribute.
