The process begins with documents that contain unstructured information. These documents are processed through an optical character recognition (OCR) engine, after which the ThoughtTrace machine learning model extracts the data to determine the appropriate classification of the document and of its provisions.
Depending on the module used (DI or PI), advanced phrase searches, specific filtering, and custom queries can be leveraged for zeroing in on data and surfacing the pertinent facts. In some scenarios, data can be exported for merging, formatting, and reporting purposes. For some, automated workflows built with our open API is the preferred method.
