Uploading Microsoft File Types

Microsoft File Types can be uploaded into Thomson Reuters Document Intelligence to be stored, classified, and have provisions extracted. While PDFs are available to be viewed immediately after upload, Microsoft file types must be converted to an image in order to be displayed. Even though the document is converted to a pdf, the original document can still be downloaded.

Before conversion:

Before the file is converted, it can be navigated to and have metadata/tags applied to it. Since the file has not been converted a preview is not available, but the file can be downloaded:

After Conversion:

The file will be viewable within the application once the analysis is complete and the file has been converted to a PDF. If the document is in a document type set up for provision extraction, provisions will be available in the content panel on the right. Even though the document is now a PDF, the original file can still be downloaded:
